The RERA exam is designed to test the knowledge and understanding of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 (RERA) and its rules and regulations.<\/p>\n<p>It is important for channel partners to clear the RERA exam to comply with the regulatory requirements and maintain their professional credibility in the real estate industry.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here are some details about the RERA exam for channel partners in Maharashtra:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Eligibility: Any individual or entity that acts as an intermediary in the sale or purchase of real estate projects, such as property dealers, brokers, or agents, is considered a channel partner and is required to take the RERA exam.<\/li>\n<li>Exam Format: The RERA exam for channel partners is a multiple-choice question (MCQ) based online exam. It consists of 50 questions and has a duration of one hour. The passing score for the exam is 40%.<\/li>\n<li>Syllabus: The RERA exam syllabus for channel partners includes topics such as the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016, RERA rules and regulations, and other related legal and regulatory frameworks.<\/li>\n<li>It is compulsory for channel partners to undergo RERA training before taking the RERA exam in Maharashtra. This is 20 hours training program and\u00a0 60% attendance is compulsory for\u00a0 <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">registering<\/span> examination. The RERA training program is designed to provide channel partners with an understanding of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 (RERA), its rules and regulations, and other related legal and regulatory frameworks.The RERA training program is essential for channel partners to stay updated with the latest regulatory developments in the real estate industry and ensure compliance with the law. The training program covers topics such as registration and compliance procedures, project and promoter registration, sale agreement, disclosure requirements, penalties, and other related aspects.In Maharashtra, there are several RERA training providers that offer comprehensive training programs for channel partners. These training providers offer classroom and online sessions, study material, and mock tests to help channel partners prepare for the RERA exam.Channel partners should select a reputable and recognized training provider and undergo a comprehensive training program to improve their chances of passing the RERA exam and maintaining their professional credibility in the real estate industry.<\/li>\n<li>Exam Registration Process: To register for the RERA exam, channel partners need to visit the MahaRERA website and create a login ID. They can then fill in the application form and select the exam date and time slot. The application fee for the exam is Rs. 1,000.<\/li>\n<li>Validity: The RERA exam certificate is valid for a period of 5 years from the date of issue. Channel partners need to renew their registration with MahaRERA after every five years and update their RERA exam certificate details.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>The Training shall be applicable for<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>(i) All individual real estate agents in case of individuals and authorized signatory<br \/>\n(authorized for making application for MahaRERA real estate agent registration) in<br \/>\ncase of firms \/ companies f organizations (Other than Individuals).<\/p>\n<p>(ii) All employees \/ staff \/ officers by whatever designation called working in firms \/<br \/>\ncompanies f orgarrizations of real estate agents, who interact with homebuyers \/<br \/>\nallottees for effecting transactions in real estate projects.<\/p>\n<p>(iii) AII real estate agents registered with MahaRERA.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The training course syllabus content for the present shall contain the following:<br \/>\nRERA structure divided into 10 Chapters, 92 Sections.<\/strong><br \/>\n1. Course orientation<br \/>\n2. Introduction to the ReaI Estate (Regulation and Development) Act201.6 (RERA)<br \/>\n3. Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA)<br \/>\n4. Understanding of MahaRERA portal<br \/>\n5. Real estate agent registration and responsibilities<br \/>\n6. Real estate project registration and promoter responsibilities<br \/>\n7. Allottees and their responsibilities<br \/>\n8. Due diligence before facilitating sale of property<br \/>\n9. Sales process, forms and agreements<br \/>\n10. Real estate calculations<\/p>\n<p><strong><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Certification: <\/span><\/strong>On successful passing of examination, the candidates shall be provided certification i.e. a<br \/>\nCertificate of Competency shall be issued with unique certification number.<\/p>\n<p>The certification number sha1l be required to be mentioned for registration \/ renewal or<br \/>\ncontinuation of registration of real estate agents with the Authority.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Training Providers<\/strong><br \/>\nMahaRERA, through tendering process, has empaneled following four organizations for<br \/>\nundertaking training of the real estate agents.
